“Sarah In The Flower Field” A New Painting Completed

Here is my newest addition to my soft pastel Amish Collection titled “Sarah in the Flower Field”.

In this painting, this young Amish girl is enjoying a peaceful moment gathering flowers while walking through a field of daisies.

After painting this piece, I had found that the daisy flower symbolizes innocence and purity, and also joy and cheerfulness. I believe this detail only adds to the beauty of the art itself. Also, Sarah’s serene look is captivating, and provides an overall sense of calm to the piece.

I believe this print would make a great gift for anyone that enjoys visiting Amish Country or for someone who collects amish themed items. My Artwork is Now Being Sold in Bird-In-Hand, Pa.!

I am so happy to tell you that my prints are now being sold in a shop in Bird-In-Hand, Pa., (my favorite place) in a store called “Calkins’ Vine and the Branches”. It’s a lovely shop that sits right next to the Bird-In-Hand bakery and across the street from the infamous Farmer’s Market on Old Philadelphia Pike. They have 2 shops, one in Lititz and the other in Bird-In-Hand.  My prints are in the store at Bird-in-Hand.

The woman who owns “Pebbles and Lace”, the store I was in before (and that has since moved to Lititz), had given this woman my name and showed her my artwork when she found out she was opening another store in Bird-in-Hand…She had also told me to contact this woman and I did…. and here we are! I am so excited! This is the place I always wanted to sell my artwork, but couldn’t find the right place for it. I am so thankful for this opportunity.

So, if you don’t like to place orders online, and you happen to be in Bird-In-Hand, you can just buy a print there. They are signed and have a mat frame on every print.
